A.I. - A CONTROVERSIAL JOURNEY

A.I. is now engrained into my workflow. As an animation director I'm often creating key moments and references and briefs to the team.
The way I use A.I. doesn't make me less creative, it is allowing me to push through ideas to get to resolutions quicker and with greater fidelity.

As a 3D artist getting a photoreal image to 90% can take 50% of a schedule. The final 10% being a rigorous and tedious. With A.I I can get an image to 50% in a timely manner, and get photorealism at the click of a button.

From a visual creation standpoint - in animation terms - if I'm supplying the keyframes, A.I. is my inbetweener.

From a 'prompt' standpoint - in film terms - if I'm giving direction, A.I. is the actor and art department showing me a textured performance.

The art is in the idea, the curation and what I'm asking.
