TIPS FOR STUDENTS - download posters / pdf
After visiting countless colleges and seeing animation students all falling into the same traps, I came up with a double sided poster idea. Matt Estela, Shelley Page and myself researched the tips. Jakob Schuh (Director of BBC's The Grufallo) illustrated the key points. The poster was given away in IMAGINE MAGAZINE. It ended up on the wall of every educational establishment in the country.

ASSETS FOR STUDENTS - CREATIVE SKILLSET
Saint John Walker of Creative Skillset asked if I'd be willing to create a

RIGGING ROAD TEST - download v3.0
This has been developed over time. I give it to any rigging department I walk into nowadays. NOT that I know how to do their job any better. But more as a way to instigate a check list process, to ensure no time is wasted between modelling completion, and animation starting.

It's like an MOT road test, if it passes the key notes on the first few pages, the chances are I wont need to send it back. OR WORSE have to stop working on something late night with a pressing deadline. (because it went untested) 

Rigging is so complex, the rigger is often too distracted to conduct some quick tests before a major publish. This helps avoid bottlenecks
